Bountiful Emissions provides certified diesel emissions testing in Utah for diesel vehicles up to 14,000 GVWR. Our shop is fully licensed to inspect diesel powered vehicles for registration renewal and state compliance. We test vehicles from model years 1998–2020 that are registered in Salt Lake County, Utah County, Cache County, Weber County, and beyond.
Testing is required for most vehicles in counties where emissions are regulated. If your vehicle falls under exemptions for new vehicles or qualifies as a vintage vehicle or collector vehicle, we can help verify your status.
Our station does not perform repairs. We specialize in clean, fast emissions inspection services and offer spot renewal after your test is complete.

We use approved emissions analyzers to verify the operation status of the vehicles OBDII on board computer system and verify that the vehicle’s factory emission system has not been modifies or tampered with in any way.
Our certified team also reviews the model year, weight class, and documentation to determine if your vehicle qualifies under any required exemptions. We’ll also confirm if you need to provide proof of testing for registration through the DMV.

To complete your test, just bring the vehicle, your current vehicle insurance, and payment. We accept all standard forms of payment at the time of service.
